- so this isn't actually an adopt I just forgot the oekaki page I had open was a colour in of my adopt thing. whoops
so anyway this is a character of mine! don't have a name for her yet
some info that I just randomly came up:
☆ as she gets older her hair gets longer
☆ as she gets older the ring like lines on her skin multiply in number
☆ as she gets older more flowers and leaves also grow on her hair! so that's nice
☆ her hair has the consistency of a tree, but the weight of regular hair. she can also style it and put it up and stuff like regular hair
☆ if she cuts a strand of hair it turns a brown/white permanently and loses it's ability to grow leaves and flowers. so if she cuts every strand to make it shorter then it basically loses the main aspect of her species
☆ those that chose to cut their hair are sometimes treated as less of a [enter species name here lmao] bc they chose to lose the 'staple' of their kind. most are pretty chill about it though because it's their body like why should they care what they do with it lmao
☆ those of her kind have different types of hair! like oak, birch, maple, etc which determines the consistency, the colour (both natural and when cut), and the average length
she's currently about 26 and yes her hair is already crazy long. it will just continue to grow and reach astronomical lengths bc her kind of hair (october glory red maple) has a very long average length
