Sleetkit , son of Patchstar, the leader of WindClan, and Mothflight, an honoured senior warrior, had always grown up dominant and respected. As the only surviving kit of his litter, he would continually boss around the younger kits. They hated him, but also need to respect him. As an apprentice, mentored by Grayspots, the deputy,he was both admired and respected. He was a show-off. He was rude. Most cats hated him on the inside. And still, everyone needed to love him, (or at least pretend to) or there will be trouble.
At around the time he was an apprentice, there was a big invasion. ShadowClan, teamed up with rogues, were determined to destroy WindClan. Revenge, it was. It was a battle he would never forget, it left him a massive scar on his belly and a hatred that he would never forget.
To blantly say, RiverClan saved them. They drove the rogues out and invited the remaining WindClan Warriors back to their camp. Neither Patchstar nor Mothflight survived, and Sleetpaw was left an orphan. The kind Yellowstar accepted the young apprentice without a flick of her tail, and he was re-apprenticed to Hollowfur, another senior warrior. Sleetpaw was really starting to change from the loud, rude WindClan cat to the sweet, happy, and caring RiverClan cat, cats saw him as affectionate and caring for the other cats, and alongside his quick feet and sharp claws, he was really one of the best warriors. He just had to follow in his parent's footsteps and become the deputy.
When he did, everything changed. His old self resurfaced. He became a loud, rude, mousebrained tom. Needless to say, terms with ThunderClan weren't going well. At the next invasion, this time RiverClan on the defensive, it seemed like the solve of all problems: The leader, Reedstar, was on his last life. When they sent Birdstar and his warriors screeching back to the forest, Sleetfang pounced on Reedstar in the shadows, giving him a quick death, a sharp nip to the neck. Only two cats saw, two newly-made warriors. Great riddiance, it was Reedstar's own kits! The concept was simple: Go back to camp, tell the mouse-brained clanmates that their leader has died in battle. Now, Sleetstar only has one thing to do: Get rid of the two witnesses. It was so simple.
