So this is my first attempt at a full body dog/wolf base, and honestly, for using a mouse, I'm pretty proud! now, no one says you have to do a realistic style when you do art. Art is all about the person's own individual style! But if you're going more for a realistic look, paws are where it's at. Mine's kind of a bad example, but an example nonetheless. For paws, I'd recommend drawing them as just circles first, then adding little half-circles for the toes. When doing a chest and stomach, especially with a pesky arm in the way, do your best to make sure the ending line of the chest and the starting line of the stomach are as close as they can be to matching up. Not all dogs are skinny, so unless you're going for a very emaciated look, don't curve the stomach in too much. I.. honestly don't know what else to say, but if you're struggling really bad, don't be afraid to look at references! There are LOADS of pictures online that can definitely help you with drawing! Don't listen to people who say that drawing from a reference is bad, because it's really not. Leonardo Da Vinci used the lady from the Mona Lisa as a reference to help him paint, so it's really not a bad thing at all. Experiment a little, see what you like best, and most importantly, don't beat yourself up. You'll get the hang of it eventually. It may not be today, it may not be tomorrow, but if you keep at it, you will improve. :3
