)This is Mika, her name means "new moon" (there are a lot of other meanings for it too, but this one fits her best)
Born in the wild Mika has lots of endurance and strength. She is built somewhat like a Shetland pony but she is much larger and doesn't have shaggy fur. She is incredibly fast which has helped her achieve many victories at the race track where she has raced since she was captured from the wild at 2 years old. Her exact breed is unknown but it is suspected that she may be a mutant breed of Shetland ponies, Thoroughbreds, and Quarter Horses, with a bit of Zebra giving her the stripes created over many generations in a contained wildlife area (she was captured in the middle of a large valley surrounded by mountains on each side). She is difficult for her trainers to handle because she has the fiery spirit that any successful racehorse does, though she would never hurt anyone or anything on purpose. Her trainers gave her the name Mika (new moon) because she is a completely new experience for all of them, one that outshines all others they have had. There is hope that one day she will have foals with her incredible traits who are just as successful as she is on the race track.
