Nikolai is a patient yet stern wolf. He is bolt and his presance emandes respect. He is tolerant with youth and will show them patients to a point. He is not the type of wolf who will put up with insubordanation or foolishness.
History
Kol was born to a dwindeling Diar Wolf line. His parents raised him in the ways f old and taught him from a young age that the world was a cruel place if you were not careful. He grew quickly and gained the skills needed to survive. As time passed their pack started to let non Diar wolves join to try and save their bloodline. Even if it would only be with half breeds. Kol was just past two and a half yeas when his father passed the rank of alpha on to him before he died. His mother passed not long after. It was oncer that summer he met a beautiful she wolf who also carried Diar Wolf traits. Her mother had been such a wolf after all. The two got along well and soon they became mates. They would be expecting pups that spring. However, not long before they were to arave a war broke out between three packs that shared boarders with the Northern Mountain Pack. Nikolai went with his top fighters of his birth pack to settle the matter. It took much longer than he had expected.
-His mate gave firth to five pups while he was away. Four shared their fur colors and were doted on. It was the first that had been born that she despised. It was told from her mother that if a red fuurred pup should ever be born to their line it would mean desaster. It was a curse. That night she had the fastest hunter from her pack take the cursed red offspring and despose of it far away from the trritory.
-- The hunter obeyed and took the pup far away. She did not have the heart to kill the innocent child though. She saw a ship making port not far from the farest where she was hidden. She waited until evening when she saw a human walking alone. She darted out of the darkness and left the red pup in the sand for the man to find. She waited to be sure that he was indeed found before returning to her pack.
When Nikolai returned from the war his ppups were already three months old. He was prsented with four striking black pups. The eldest was a female who was as dark as the night itself. The other three were male. two mirrored one another. Only being told arart by the Navy mark on their ear being opposite. The youngest was quite a mix of black and dark navy with ash markings. He was overjoied to meet his children. For the next six months he watched them grow into strong adolesants. The young female, who wa given the name Ialokin, which was Nikolai's name backwards, grew strong and fast. She was stronger than her brothers or any other pups in the pack. Nikolai noticed something about her as she grew. Within her black fur a red hugh started to present itself. Her fur was rather long like his own so it had not been noticed. When his mate noticed this she instantly tried to attack the pup. Kol engaged her and came quite close to ending her life. In the fight she had accidently revealed that she had gotten rid of one of the pups due to his fur color. This enraged Nikolai and he cast his mate out of the pack. He found the hunter who had taken the pup aay and she told him what she had done rather than killing the child.
It was on that day that Nikolai left his trusted Beta's over the pack and set out to find his son. Ialokin, called Loki, went with her father. For a while the youngest male, called Indigo, traveled with them. Loki taught them both the skills that he had learned in his youth. A few years later Indigo was sent back to take the place of alpha. His brothers challenged him but with his fathers training his won. Loki was meant to be the next alpha but she refused to leave her father in their search for her long lost brother.
Eight long years have passed since then. From time to time they get a lead on the male but have yet to find him.
