"What are you doing with this cover?"
I'm gonna be redoing the designs for an old
thing called PoppyClan!

"What is PoppyClan?"
An old fanmade warrior cats clan I made a long time ago,
and I'm still working on the general lore and characters today!
It is a combination of WindClan and Shadowclan, I will
explain why in a moment.

"Wow, sounds cliche"
Yes, I know. As I said, this is an old story that I made a very
long time ago, (around 2015!) so it needs a bit of patching
up here and there. (especially venomstar *shudders*)

"Are you finally gonna tell us about the lore?"
Yep!

Long ago, nobody remembers how long anymore, there were 4 clans: ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan
and WindClan. These clans didn't tend to get along, but they were at peace for the most part. Much of the
warrior code has changed, and everyone would tend to agree to disagree with each other.

"So, how's it been in ShadowClan, Poppystar?" A dusty-tan she-cat mewed in the direction of a white tom with black spots.
"Things have been pretty good, Twisterstar. We've had much more prey than we ever have, kits have been growing
big and strong. Everything is as it should be." The white and black tom, Poppystar, mewed. "Except, there was
a terrible patrol." A few mutters broke out among the watching crowd of cats from all four clans. "I sent my
deputy, Redwing, out with a few warriors and some apprentices. Barkfur, Lochheart, Monarchwing, Twilightpaw and Venompaw to be exact."
He paused for a few moments. "Only three cats came back."
Gasps, then whispering, broke out over the crowd. "Lochheart and Venompaw were badly injured and couldn't tell me what
happened, while Barkfur seemed... too traumatized. We assumed that one of the other clans attacked."
Even more gasps among the crowd as a brown tabby tom spoke up in a voice so soft and melodic it would give you
shivers. "Any clan in particular? Are you sure it wasn't a fox?"
"It wasn't us, I swear by all the cats in StarClan!" A tortoiseshell she-cat said in a pleading voice that sounded like
a kit trying to get out of trouble.
"We aren't sure. There's a bit of evidence leading to..." Poppystar seemed to hesitate, and shot a glance at Twisterstar.
"Th-ThunderClan."
Twisterstar hissed in outrage. "We didn't do it, you little piece of fox-dung! Why, out of all four clans, would the
clan known for being the most loyal attack the shadiest clan in existence?" Her voice was shrill and angry, like a dog's bark.
"Wait, wait! I can explain!" Poppystar quickly mewed. "When they got back to camp, they carried the fallen warriors on their backs,
and Venompaw had mumbled something about ThunderClan!" His ears were twisted back, as Twisterstar lashed her tail.

Barkfur, who was sitting in the crowd, couldn't stop panicking. His heart was pounding more at every word that the leaders said.
He had seen what had really happened, but he couldn't say a word. Every time he tried to talk about it, his throat
tightened up and he couldn't speak. Lochheart had started the fight, but nobody except for him and Venompaw knew.

"Our new deputy has not been decided, though I have someone in mind." Poppystar mewed, Twisterstar practically pinning him
down.
"You'll need to choose one very soon, Pop, because you have just started a neverending storm." Twisterstar hissed, putting
just enough emphasis on 'storm' that Poppystar froze. Twisterstar whispered something in his ear, right before scratching him across the cheek. The moon started to become covered by the clouds, everyone looking concerned.
"Everyone, get back home!" The tortoiseshell leader mewed frantically. "StarClan is upset! Go, go, go!"


aaand I can't think of a way to drag it on so it leads into, basically
thunder attacks shadow > a new war starts > wind joins thunder and makes stormclan > river joins shadow and makes poppyclan
