First, nah, Feathertail wasn't his sister. Feathertail did have a brother though - Stormfur.
Crowfeather's pretty weird. I think what happened with him was that he loved Feathertail, but she died. After that, I think he "fell in love" with the first person who was nice to him - Leafpool. But I don't think he actually loved her. Nightcloud was a cover up of his relationship with Leafpool and their kits.

Feathertail was Graystripe's and Silverstream's daughter and Stormfur was their son. Feathertail died killing the mountain lion Sharpclaw, not suicide, although she did die when she fell. It was off a stalactite, though, not a gorge. I don't think cats generally commit suicide.
