Precious robopupper!

Pup from a steampunk verse. Was companion to a prince until a rival kingdom attacked and everything went boom. Is kind of in hiding because the rival kingdom (now in charge after ransacking the territory) disapproves of the melding of nature/magic and technology. Still acts like she rules the world of course, even when she lived in the alleyways.

Very intelligent in the manner of being able to read and understand humans. Still can't talk though (and her mouth is sort of hinged shut too at this point). Wings and the majority of her body was damaged during the attack- can't fly and leaks oil all over, and her joints squeak as she walks.

Eventually was caught out on the streets by a show-man (the reason her mouth is hinged shut) who showed off her and her tricks to the public. The authorities caught wind of it and the business was shut down, Erika winding up in the court of one of the more relaxed nobility. He thought she was a novelty and kept her around as his pet, hiding her from the other members of the kingdom who would deem Erika unnatural and destroy her.
