The two wolves, one brown one gray, snuggled up close together for warmth. The trees creaked in the harsh wind, muffling the sound of pawsteps.
Ah, I found you at last. murmured the newcomer, rushing over.
Away, foul demon! bristled the brown wolf.

Faton, what is he talking about? whispered the silver wolf, Destiny to her mate.
Faton didn't answer. He stared down angerily at the ground, his claws un-hinging grass.
Hasn't he told you, my sweet. Just sniff him. He's betrayed you.
Again, the dark brown wolf had no answer. He gritted his teeth in anger.
Faton?Is this true? Destiny stared at Faton, willing it not to be.
One can only have one mate. Not more. Faton must've forgotten that rule. purred the sandy-brown wolf, his eyes gleaming.
Don't listen to Thanatos. His life his built upon lives.
And yours isn't? Come, dear. Leave him be. Than swished his tail and turned to Destiny.
Faton shook his head and lunged at the other male. They wrestled around the clearing, trapped in battle.
