Don't feel let down for not having a tablet! The only difference is that there is no pressure and extra features. My tablet is actually new, but I began my journey by using a mouse and everyone loved my work! :) It's all about experience and skill. I recommend you to start with easier poses too and smaller canvases. The smaller the canvas, the more comfortable you are adding complicated detail. That way, instead of drawing something on a bigger canvas which takes hours, use a smaller one instead. Some people might feel differently, but I personally love to take my time and focus on detail. I still didn't get used to bigger canvases, so I just try from time to time so once I'm ready I get to focus on a wider picture with more detail. Also one more thing, I also draw traditionally, and these arts are way better than the digital ones.

Thank you. <3 And I always tell myself to appreciate the traditional drawings more. Not everyone's hand can work like magic, it's not easy. I do hope and wish you the best for the future though, art can take you many places. :)

Please ask all the questions you like! This conversation is really a thrill for me. Pen pressure is basically the pressure which you apply to the pen of the tablet. So for example if you press hard on your tablet using the pen, your lines become thick because of the pressure you applied.
