Amber was made on Homeworld,
and served as a mission gem for Yellow
Diamond. Amber was known to comple-
te all missions quickly and efficiently,
earning a higher ranking than most ot-
her Ambers. As a mid-ranking gem, she
was quite well known among Homewo-
rld. However, her constant competitio-
ns and pranks earned her an infamous
reputation - although Yellow Diamond
allowed it because of Amber's useful s-
peed and efficiency on missions. Altho-
ugh Amber was created quite a few ye-
ars after the gem war, her missions are
often frequent on the gem battlefield,
reporting any signs of foreign gems, hu-
mans, or life. She often finds evidence
of other gems, but due to her lack of k-
owledge of tracking technology, she was
unable to find the gems responsible for
quite some time, until she later brought
an escort gem experienced with the te-
chnology to the gem battlefield. Amber
found out the gems responsible were k-
nown as the 'Crystal Gems'. She's been
trying to find them ever since.
