Vantas. wrote:I suck at everything but I thought this would help. You're really good with knowing anatomy so far, and it definitely helped a lot! (I also envy the fact that you know how to draw cartoonish paws better than me lol) The only thing is proportion and gravity (which I have trouble with too sometimes, it's hard!) I saw the bigger paws and tried to put a face proportional with them but for paws to be that big the body might have to be bigger as well, and for this body size just a little bit smaller paws help so they don't stumble over their own toes!^^ Also wolves are known to have big floofy necks:
And even though I'm terrible at drawing wolf heads, they have long snouts (definitely longer than what I did, but I gave up after the 18th try lol):
The subject with gravity on the tail is make sure if their tail is just resting and it's brushed aside them like that, that it curves around but it's also falling a little, otherwise it would look like static electric cling!uwu
With the stomach, you have to remember their rib cage holds a lot of their internal organs together but then it breaks off and it's all attached to the spine, so their chest have to be bigger but not so big that it pulls away from the spine:
And then I did the angles for fun, like if you wanted to ever change the angle of the paw, it all rests in fate of the toes. It all depends on where you draw the toes and that's what angle it should be! Want your wolf facing forward? Draw the toes right up front! Facing to the left? Draw them a little to the left!
They are truly majestic creatures. Hopes this helps a little! You already know how to do the body, just make it a little more proportional, you got it! Great job btw!^^
