The stars sparkled as Destiny raced passed them. "youll never catch up" destiny barked, glancing behind her. a male star-wolf was chaing behind her.
"not this time" he growled playfully.
destiny rolled her eyes, "ill reach the milky way before you do streak" she looked back ahead of her at the milky-way. she stopped once she reached it. streak trotted up panting.
"fine, your faster than me." he smiled at her.
the silence felt, odd. the two looked bellow their feet at the planet earth.
"why are you going?" streak whispered.
destiny sighed. "its my duty." she sounded older, and wiser than she realy was, "i was chosen" she bowed her head.
"but why you?" streak sat down with a thud, the stars moved back out of his way then back again.
"i told you" she looked back up at him, "its, my, duty" she held back her anger. she turned around and stalked away.
"i thought we where friends" he called to her, before turning and leaving as well.
she sighed and went to her mother.

"are you sher your ready?" Destinys mother barked woriedly.
destiny looked around, streak had promised he would come, when she had first told him. she sighed, "yes" he wouldnt be coming, ever since she had told him, he had been acting difrently.
the croud stopped following them as they reached the edge.
"here we are" destiny looked over the edge. they where right above the planet.
"im ready" destiny whispered. she closed her eyes and listened to her mother, this would be the first time she would hear her mothers sweet voice. and the last words she had said to streak had been mean and hurtfull. a shiver went down her back, "im sorry streak" she leapt off and felt herself hurtling towards earth.
"destiny!" she opened her eyes and looked up. streak was bending over the edge, staring at her. she smiled, "you came" she barked, but he didnt hear, she was already entering the earths atmosphere
