Redline

Postby Larkspur1678 » Fri Jan 09, 2015 5:11 am

School was cancelled because it's -30 degrees wind chill(kinda surprising because it usually has to be -35), so why not do some drawing. This was done as a mix of my style and the style of the sketch.

You did pretty well, but there are few things I want to points out, and a side by side view will be posted shortly to give a better view.
- The head was too big for the body(and my lines still have it slightly too big, oops). I used to have quite a bit of trouble with this, especially in oekaki where this is no resizing, and it just takes some practice and referencing to get it right on the mark without needing to resize it.
-The back legs were quite thick. This could be just a stylistic choice, but i still wanted to point it out that canine legs are quite slender and well defined.
-Tails don't hit the ground on wolves. They usually end at about the hock, which is where the leg juts out in the back(where those little triangle like marks are ion my lines)
