I can't say I know what you personally are going through, but I believe I have an idea of your pain. My dog was put to sleep almost a year ago now, and I still miss him terribly. We aren't completely sure what specific breed he was, but we think he was an English Labrador, and he was one of the best dogs ever. Sure he had problems, but we helped him as best we could. Though I am an atheist, there is a part of me that hopes there is a better place for all our beloved companions.

This is really touching and adorable, Corrosive.

Makes me think of my little chihuahua who died back in August (literally a week before I was off to college too..) from getting out of our yard and getting hit by a car. Loosing a pet, dog or not, is probably one of the hardest things next to loosing a family member or a close friend.

Yeah, we sort of have the same problem with our road. It's not big but it's still a busy street since it's one of only like 4 that comes into town. I used to have a cute tom cat named Toki who, unfortunately, had the same fate as my chihuahua about a year or two ago. Toki was such an affectionate cat, when he wanted attention he wouldn't let you do anything else. xD

The only thing I wish I would have done with Toki & my dog was take a decent picture of them. (I'm weird when it comes to pictures lol i like taking them to remember things 'cause I have a really bad memory. idk it's weird and hard to explain.) The only picture I have of my chihuahua is when she got her head stuck in a spaghettio's can and had a sauce ring around her face XD
it's probably one of my favorite pics even though its crappy lol

Sadly the only thing I remember about Diana was her death, as I was so young, but I think she had olive green or hazelish eyes.
