Story: Eddie was part of a project with the intention to create animatronics with a romantic theme. There were set to be two, a bride and a groom, who would share a separate stage (Sort of like Foxy's in the first game). The stage was referred to as the 'Ballroom Stage', due to its design and the fact that the bride and groom's primary performance was dancing together. However, due to complications, only Eddie was completed. While he was fully programmed, the bride was never built, and the stage was declared off-limits. Eddie, despite this, is still programmed to interact with her, and when he rises at night and doesn't see his partner, he goes looking for her. Unfortunately, because she was never built, he doesn't know what she looks like, but he *does* recognize the other animatronics. Therefore, as he wanders through the building, the only thing he does not recognize must be her! *But* the only thing in the building he does not recognize just so happens to be the night guard.
/An alternate story where the bride's exoskeleton was made, but her endoskeleton isn't present. So she's there, but she's an empty shell and she cannot move. Eddie searches for a way to bring her to life so that they can be together, but he does not fully understand how to. So, when he encounters a non-animatronic that can move and talk and does not seem to already have an exoskeleton, he puts them into her exoskeleton in an attempt to do so. He really does not mean to hurt the night guard; he's actually showing them the highest honor he can by stuffing them into the bride's suit.
Behaviors/Mechanic: Much like Foxy, Eddie begins on his own stage. He also does the same sort of 'peeking out of the curtain' thing, but he doesn't have Foxy's 'going -- going -- gone' mechanic. At the beginning, the curtain covering the Ballroom Stage will be closed, and then he will open it slightly and his eyes will be visible on the other side. Once he has left, the stage will be empty, but he does not sprint like Foxy does. Instead, he behaves much like a regular animatronic, with one catch. The other animatronics are somewhat frightened by him, so they will never stay in the same area as him. This means that, as he moves, the other animatronics will move as well. Sometimes they just leave to the next area and then return as soon as Eddie is gone, but other times they will jump clear across the map, as is their habit. This means that he can both chase animatronics away from or clear up to the office doors. He is visible on-camera, but he is hard to see. Much like Freddy in the first game and Balloon Boy in the second, the primary form of tracking his movement is with audio cues (He hums and laughs when he switches areas). When he reaches the office, he hovers outside the door, knocking on the door and humming frequently. He increases the power usage by a full bar whenever he knocks. He is also strange in the fact that paying more attention to him makes him more active. If the theoretical player were to look at an area he is in frequently, he is more likely to move closer. It's most important, however, when he is outside the door. The more often the light is shone on him, the more often he knocks and the longer he stays for. If he is left alone, he will leave, possibly clear back to peeking out of the ballroom stage curtain.
Whoa that was really long
