Background: His mother, Sorrelpelt, was a WindClan cat - his father, however, was a RiverClan cat named Mosstail. It was a one night romance, and his mother told everyone the father was her kithood friend, Oakfur, who was struck down on Thunderpath shortly before Mossfeather was born. His mother named him 'Mosskit', in remembrance of his father. After becoming Medicine Cat, Mossfeather learned from StarClan the truth of his parentage; he has told no one.
