I'd say the best piece of advice I can give you is
Learn realistic first
I know its challenging but it's the best thing that will ever happen to you. What you can do is find pictures of animal bone structure and just keep drawing from that. Use shapes those are also very helpful as well.
Like for example I'm still learning cats and such so I used this picture as a reference point
When you've learned realistic then you can move onto chibi style.
