Redline wolf

Postby deertush » Mon Jul 28, 2014 11:42 am

*jazz hands*

The muzzle and forehead needs to be parallel but I was too lazy to correct myself.
All I can suggest is observing real life wolves from every angle. It is even better to research the muscle forms and skeletons of the things you draw. It helps MUCH more than watching furred creatures in my opinion.

Oh! I didn't see that you responded.

But no problem. A little studying and referencing before
doing an art piece can make a world of a differene.

Draw things you love. If you draw things you adore then you most likely won't lose as much patience.
A fact that I cannot soften in the least bit is that you will not improve if you do not try.
I make at least 4 drawings per day to keep up my skills and keep improving. A few drawings every other week will most likely not be sufficient.
Every artist has had their problems regarding art but it can be resolved. Just keep trying and don't put yourself down so much. And never be afraid to ask other artists for a redline or advice.
