Legend tells of an ancient being named Aasim {Ah-seem}. He was a dragon, wolf hybrid; one of the most interesting creatures that the people of the Walara village have ever seen. He was described to fly above their town, day and night, protecting all citizens, and attacking any hostile creatures that came near. The townspeople named the beast 'Aasim', meaning 'protector,' or 'guardian', in their native language. A shrine was made of the brave creature in the center of their town, it still remaining 100 years after his assumed death. Stories are still told of him, passed from generation, to generation.
