Smoke: Sooty Appaloosa

Postby Ariana Black » Fri Mar 28, 2014 8:44 am

[I'm copy righting Smoke and her story. Lines belong to Neara and the design [color], and story belong to me. Once I have her mother's image up I will link it up to this one and will copy right her story as well.]

Our story begins on an Appaloosa ranch. It is a stormy Spring night. Lightning zigzags across the sky and thunder roars loudly in the night air. Electricity seems to be in the air as well as excitement. For tonight is the night the farm's best brood mare, Coco Bunny. All the ranch hands were running around getting things ready for the pregnant mare. It was way past midnight but still dark outside from the storm when Coco Bunny finally went into labor. An hour passed before a small foal lay beside her mother trying to escape the birthing sac. Instantly ranch hands rush in to help the tiny and delicate foal. Coco Bunny stands back watching them ready to rush in and attack if need be. Soon the small filly is out of her sac and the ranch hands have retreated. The tiny foal starts her many attempts to stand up. Her mother comes over to lick her all over and soon she is up and standing. The first thing she does once standing is nurse. She nurses for quite a while before she has had her full. That is when the ranch hands come back in and dry her off with a soft towel. Suddenly lightning strikes! Smoke fills the birthing barn and soon Coco Bunny and her foal are rushed out just in time to see fire eating away at the barn. The ranch hands put them into a pasture and soon are taking buckets of water to the flames. It is several hours later when they finally kill the flames. The ranch owner came out looking worried and congratulated the ranch hands. He then looked over at Coco Bunny and her foal and he beamed at them. he then declared the young filly's name to be Whispering Smoke because her at reminded him of smoke and because her fathers name was called A Warrior's Whisper nicknamed Warrior.
