N a m e :Her name is Mandi, which means worthy of being loved. I personally think
this name is quite beautiful for a simple name, and I love the meaning. L o v e L e t t e r :✎
If it's true, that we accept the love we deserve, I wonder why we then think
so lowly of ourselves to choose something so wrong for us. Now I know this is no way
to start a letter, but I feel some of my opinions must be voiced in a way. If this is true,
than why do we often turn ourselves against those we love, treating them like dirt, only
to use the excuse it's because we love them. In my opinion, hurting ourselves and others
in the name of love is not what it's really about. It's about showing someone how much
we care for them, every day; no matter how small the action. it's about respect, and
knowing that you couldn't see yourself without them. It's not about finding someone who
completes you; it's about finding someone who helps you complete yourself; who cares for
you exactly the way you are, and wouldn't ever ask you to change unless you were becoming
someone else in a desperate need for approval. Someone who'll always be there to catch you
when you fall, and someone you can catch in return. Yet we still treat some as though
they're nothing more than trash left on the street. Why is this? I feel everyone should be
loved, and everyone should know that they are cared about. The world would be a whole
lot nicer; a world I'd want to see. That's why I now write this letter to you, because even
if the action seems small, I still want to let you know that some one does care about
you; and you should never give up. Have an amazing Valentines Day, to match what an
amazing person you are.

C r u s h ? :SkunkD r e a m s :Mandi would want more than anything to become a writer or journalist. She loves to
help others, and really feels she could inspire someone one day. She loves to make others
feel better about themselves, and hopes that she could do that for many sometime in the
near future. I t e m s :Where did Mandi get her items? Well here is a story telling how each was received.
Charms- Mandi held the metal bookmark with care. It was a flat piece of metal with designs carved
into the silver, small charms hanging on metal hooks. It was received after Mandi had read one of
her stories to the children. She volunteered often, and loved reading what she wrote to others. As a
gift, she was given this very beautiful bookmark. She sat on her bed, writing in her journal as music
played. She sang softly to 'Let Me Go' as she wrote with her neat handwriting, a mix of print and cursive.
As she wrote, a gust of wind blew in through the open window, scattering the papers on her desk all
over the wood floor. Quickly jumping off of her bed to shut the window as light rain started to come in,
Mandi had forgotten the bookmark was placed next to her. It was pushed off of the bed, the beads and
charms breaking off and scattering around the floor. Angered at her own foolishness and down with the
broken book mark, she knelt down after shutting the window. The charms were so beautiful, and she couldn't
bear to through away the piece. Picking each one up, she placed them on her desk. Atop her desk was
many things, stacked in neat piles. One of those things happened to be a roll of thin black string, wrapped
neatly around a pencil. Being the resourceful Taikea she is, she tied each charm to a piece of string,
tying each of those to her tail. Quite happy with the turn-out, she wore them every day, representing
how just because something was broken, doesn't mean it had to b thrown away. Plus, it reminded her
of those who brought her the bookmark in the first place, and it lead to a soft smile each time she saw
the beautiful charms.
