Redline

Postby Rummy » Mon Jan 06, 2014 11:19 am

You did a pretty good job actually so I wouldnt worry about your front paws too much. I followed your sketch and I think it looks weird because the toes are SO close to the wrist area but I dont feel like fixing it so, Just move the paws a little more "out" so theyre not so close to the wrist and itll look fine. Also, the tips of the claws should touch the ground. For the lifted side paw remember where the wrist should be, and that the paw thins out at the top, coming to a sort of point at the end. For the side paw again, just remember where the wrist should be, and maybe flatten out the toes a little more. Dont make them so rounded.

I hope this helped!

You, my friend, are a wonderful person. <3
Yes, I do see now that it is a bit close. I have a bit of a " toony " streak in my drawing, so my paws are on the clumsy large side.
Thank you so much for the redline!

Yeah no problem! Even with the more "cartoony" look just remember that the claws touch the ground, and that a lifted side paw should be sort of thinner, even with bubbly paws :)
