The reasoning behind his markings and adaptations are:
(He lives in caves with puddles everywhere, and his prey would be rodents of various types)

-His glowing things are red because they look good that way.
-His whole top side is dark and has darker stripes because that's his camouflage for when he hides from things. He crouches on his belly. It blends him in with the dark stone and the small cracks in it.
-His whole underside is light so that he can hide in deep puddles. He lays on his back. Then, when something comes along to drink, he springs up and catches it.
-His tail is very light and shiny, so that when he's in water, the light bouncing off the surface of his tail will imitate the light bouncing off of the surface of the water. His tail is also this way so that he can use it as a lure for different prey when he's out of water.
-His eyes are like a cat's so that he can see in the dark.
-He benefits from his cheetah speed and his rabbit legs by using them to jump over abysses. He takes a running leap to jump the chasm.

He would blend in better in night time missions, and would preform best as a guerrilla soldier.
He is calm tempered, sly, and agile.
