alright so here's my first version so you can see the dog's anatomy
I didn't make him fluffy because I want you to see the actual anatomy and not just the fluff
I highly recommend using picture references to figure out anatomy, because you'll be able to see where everything goes and how everything looks in real life
the main chunk of anatomy can actually be comprised of bean shapes when first sketching the dog! I especially use this to help find the shape of the torso and work from there.
