Wolf face redline

Your drawing is very cute and has a great base; all you really need to do is fine tune what you have :3

It's wonderful that you have a fluffy neck, but don't be afraid to really expand on the volume of that fluff. It can be tempting to taper the fur under a wolf's neck, but doing so can give your wolf an undesired, horse-like effect. As seen in this image-- http://m6.i.pbase.com/g6/99/402399/2/79 ... 4qejZk.jpg -- the fur is full all around most of the neck with only a small taper under the chin.

The nose on your canine seems more lion-like than canine. Lowering the nostril, and making sure that the nose covers the top of the tip of the snout can really help it look more canine-- http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2010/ ... 30f3ro.png
Also, tapering the snout into a sharper point might help. The lower jaw seems particularly large on your canine, so taking off some girth there may help.

For the eye, I'd recommend going for more of a narrow "cone" shape with profile views. For the ears, I'd say space them farther apart so they don't appear like they rest directly on top of the head.

My last critique would be don't be afraid of drawing fur lines throughout your drawing to show different shapes and areas of fur. This is kind of a quick reference, but if you can mentally divide portions of the face kinda like this-- http://norisus.tumblr.com/post/54958540 ... and-angles -- then you can draw fur lines for some of these and give more shape and fluff to the face. I find that the best spots to exaggerate are the cheek/jawline, the fur around the eyes, and a median line of fur on the neck.

I recommend drawing as much as possible and just never stopping. There's no such thing as perfect, but practice certainly hones one's skill in anything. While practicing, don't be afraid to reference-- the real thing, if possible. As much as a redline or viewing another artist's work may seem helpful, you can't beat looking at the real thing.
I have some tutorials collected here, if you want to give it a look: http://norisus.tumblr.com/post/41310512 ... masterpost

I hope that this helps!
