Tombstone dragons or Ghost dragons ( Draconis Tombus) are kind of like 'grave gaurdians'.
Habitat:
Tombstone dragons can live in all habitats. Mother Tombstone dragons have very sensitve noses and after mating leave their home and lay an egg on the exact spot where a western/european dragon died.
Diet:
Tombstone dragons do not move often so they don't eat much. But when they do they eat meat or grass. They only need water every 2nd day.Tombstone dragons cannot hunt anything smaller than a large dog, because they're very slow hunters and can only get big things that aren't all that fast.
Appearance:
All Tombstone Dragons have a sandy yellow body, and shining red eyes.Their muzzle ears ( If applicable),claws, tail and wing webbing are the colour of the dead dragon's beneath them. Markings are not unusual but there are no markings in the body at all.
Behaviour:
Tombstone Dragons are usually placid if tamed but if they are guarding their dead dragon and a creature comes by it will do all it can to end its life. When domesticated Tombstone dragons can do all a normal western/European dragon can.But precaution must be taken if males are around females, as they may get aggressive.
Breeding:
Every 3 years a Tombstone dragon female ( identified by the *insert marking color here* line under their eyes) will leave her 'tomb' and try to find one by smelling trees and the wind. As I said earlier they have an extremely sensitive nose, their smelling is so good it would put bears to shame. Male Tombstones are solitary and 'rank' does not exist, so it is completely the Tombstone dragon female's choice on who to pick. After that the female will find a dead dragon and lay her egg.She will then return to her home.
Size:
Females are larger than males and are 5.2 metres up to the shoulder at the tallest. They're 10 metres long.
Males are smaller but can be very aggressive they're 4.9 metres up to the shoulder at the tallest, they're 9.5 metres long.
