Characters - need names

Postby SnowStar » Sat Oct 26, 2013 1:58 pm

Possible new character for Timeless, twins but not identical.

Yeah both are based off of paint horses with stripes, like a lot of my characters. I couldn't resist. 8l
They need names, ideas are welcomed!
So full of hate were our eyes
That none of us could see
Our war would yield countless dead
But never victory
So let us cast arms aside
And like discard our wrath
Thou, in faith, will keep us safe
Whilst we find the path

Well, the girl could be Aednat (ey-nit) which means 'Little Fire'. The boy could be Oengus (Eng-iss) which comes from the roots 'aon', meaning "excellent" and 'gus' meaning "Strength, vigor". Aengus (another spelling for Oengus) was the God of love and of youth, his words were sweet like nectar, and attracted birds, bees, and other creatures. He fell in deep love with a girl from a dream and was put through many trials just to prove his love for her, this includes turning himself into a swan. The poet William Butler Yeats wrote a poem about Aengus' trials called "The Song of Wandering Aengus". It's amazing and you should look it up sometime, it's worth the read.
Death. To your little, precious heart, this is the scene where you depart. No one will hear your final words. I'ma Life-Taker. I'ma HeartBreaker.
