Ventura w/accessories~

Postby puddssoul » Wed Jul 31, 2013 11:26 am

Yep, added accessories. lD A pastel planet necklace, with matching bracelets, and studs in her ear, and I changed the star hairclip to a slightly lighter shade, it was a bit too bright before. owo And I've decided that her name will be Ventura Isis Monsoon. lD It's kind of a long name for such a pipsqueak of a pony (yes, she's quite under-sized for her age) but she has the personality to fill it out, so it's okay. Ventura has been an adventurer since birth, and is always eager to find new things and explore them fearlessly. Of course, this has resulted in many bruises, scrapes, and even broken bones over the years, giving her a high pain tolerance. She's actually pretty quiet when put into a more social situation, and prefers to adventure on her own, without a companion. She's extremely sweet, sometimes even to a naïve way, and she uses this to her advantage sometimes when she comes up against other adventurers to occasionally trick them if she doesn't like them. She loves hiking to high heights to learn more about the planets and the stars, and she always carries a small, collapsible telescope with her, no matter what.

Edit: Added a pastel tail bow to match, I like it because it makes her look younger, which she is -- Ventura, despite her boldness and everything, is only a young adult, barely more than a filly.

***

Ventura was born in the middle of a snowstorm, small and sickly. Her parents feared that the illness would be the end of there, right then and there, but their tiny daughter struggled and survived, although she never quite thrived like the other foals did. She lagged behind a little, growing slower, even though she grew quite swift and agile in playing. The other children teased her sometimes for not being able to keep up with them, even though she could, quite technically, keep up. She often grew sick and could not attend school, so her mother home-schooled her, at least until Ventura insisted she be allowed to attend with her peers, so she wouldn't be treated so differently. She graduated with honors, as she was intelligent and studious -- not having many friends, she devoted her extra time to memorizing and studying all that she could in order to get good grades and earn her parents' favor.
