Teina is an ordinary house cat who one day took it upon herself to break into a castle to search for food. Upon entering, she was yelled at by a ball of fire, who ended up burning her to the point the castle master, Howl, and his young girlfriend, Molly, took the cat in, saying it was only untill her burns healed.. Years and years later, Teina is still prowling the halls of the castle, though she spends most her time lazing by the fire that once burned her. She has a phobia of kids, though it seems to be dealt with.
