Sunfeather. A thin, wily she-cat with a great
deal of wisdom in respect to her age. This
calico feline is cunning and quick to react. She's
also quite stubborn, and cats find it substantially
difficult to sway her opinion on practically any

matter. It's obvious to most that Sunfeather is strong-willed with a fiery passion for her warrior duties. She has the ideal mindset of a Clanner- unwavering loyalty, a strong work ethic, and a flaming determination for greatness. However, this little cat doesn't come without big downfalls. Sunfeather can be a little over-aggressive, and quick to hostility. She's also stuck in her ways, and sometimes she's too proud to take advice. She has a hard time handling criticism, and don't even think about talking to her as if she's below you. This proud she-cat is annoyed by nothing more than cats she regards as equals being condescending or acting superior towards her. The only cats not in this category of her mind are the medicine cat and leader. Given this fact, it might be surprising to some that she treats those younger than her as her equals, even apprentices. Sunfeather knew how frustrating it was growing up when older cats talked down to you, and she wanted to be a better figure in younger felines' lives. She has the decency to take their ideas seriously, and give them serious advice when they ask for it. This empathy doesn't cause Sunfeather to be too soft on them, however. She knows apprentices need to be on their toes during training and if they think they can slack off around her, the warrior will certainly let them know they're wrong.

xxxxxxSunfeather is a dainty, thin she-cat. She has minimal muscle mass, but this offers her a light weight, and she makes up for a lack of muscle strength with blinding speed and agility. She spent days on the practice field sharpening her moves to fight with precision, even when her mentor hadn't instructed her to. This seasoned fighting style makes for a great combination with her light body. Her vulnerability in battle is being stuck in one spot. If she gets pinned or otherwise locked down in battle, there really isn't anything she can do. Sunfeather relies on her quick movement.
xxxxxxBeing such a thin-framed cat, this warrior has long limbs in proportion to her body, as well as a narrow, angular face accompanied by quite large ears. Her tail is long and snake-like, and her movement appears similar to that of water, smooth and fluid. Her large eyes are set like golden-lime colored jewels in her skull, paired with defined cheekbones, giving her somewhat of a regal, yet young-looking feature.
xxxxxxSunfeather's calico coloration is quite vibrant and sets her apart. Most prominently are the markings on her face- which include a bold black streak from her forehead to her nose. Her ears are mostly black, and she has a tiny white splash on her chin. Her chest adorns a large white patch, and the toes on her two front paws are white. Her back paws retain the calico pattern throughout, however. Starting from her chest she has a thin white stripe going down her belly. The rest of her body is decorated with those vibrant black-and-ginger patches and swirls.
xxxxxxEven with her extra thin structure and her striking calico pelt, Sunfeather's most bright feature are undoubtedly her eyes. Starting honey-golden from the center and radiating out into an electric yellow-green, her eyes are brought out by the contrast of her darker fur, and being that they're quite large in respect to her face makes them even more so.

xxxxxx Sunfeather was brought up within the new faith of ForestClan, that which celebrates darkness and rejects the light of StarClan. Like any new kit, she learned the path of the Dark Forest from her Clanmates. But as she got older, she always found herself looking to the sky in times of struggle rather than to the shadows, like the cats around her always did. She felt a pull towards the stars, but knew that this behavior was frowned upon by ForestClan and the Dark Forest cats that went after anyone they suspected to be in alliance with the stars. So, Sunfeather kept her instinct to follow the Warrior code and the way of StarClan a secret, and has down well doing so from the young age of eight moons, when she realized the strange feeling within her were loyalty to StarClan. She's been a highly-respected warrior among the cats of ForestClan for seasons now, even earning the position of Clan deputy. No cat has ever suspected her of believing in StarClan- well, no cat except for one.
xxxxxx It was the moon Sunfeather had become a warrior, and only a few short nights had passed since her vigil of silence beside the entrance of the camp. The newfound difficulties in becoming a warrior were weighing the young she-cat down, and she took it upon herself to go for a walk late in the night. Her tired paws, she found, had carried Sunfeather to a small clearing, where a gap in the treetops allowed starlight to shine through and play on the lush forest floor. She laid down just outside the circle of light, and looked up and the glittering night sky. It was only heartbeats before a voice spoke behind her, causing her to quickly jump to her feet in fear, until she realized it was only Thunderleap, a tom who had been an apprentice when she was a young kit, and became a warrior shortly before she turned six moons old.
xxxxxx "Now why am I not surprised to find you out here," Thunderleap had spoken, with an almost teasing expression on his face.
xxxxxx "What's that supposed to mean?" Sunfeather retaliated, fur still prickling from the tom startling her.
xxxxxx "Only that I've noticed you being... different." Thunderleap began. "Ever since you were an apprentice you've always acted just a little bit different than most cats. You always looked unsure about the darker operations of the Clan. And I've noticed how you're always looking up to the sky."
xxxxxx Sunfeather was terrified. She stayed silent, and only stared at him. Is he here to take me out for the Dark Forest? I remember catching him staring at me sometimes... Has he been watching my every move?
xxxxxx "Want to know how I know? Because I'm different too." Thunderleap continued.
Sunfeather was suddenly very confused.
xxxxxx "Sunfeather, I know you believe in StarClan. I do too. It seems we're the only ones in the Clan who can see that the ways of the Dark Forest are wrong." The tom concluded.

xxxxxxEver since that meeting, Sunfeather and Thunderleap were drawn to each other, and eventually became mates. Thunderleap became deputy when Sunfeather was forty-three moons old (ten moons before present). Three moons later, they had two sons, Spiderkit and Mosskit. Sunfeather was a proud mother, but when her kits were two moons old, five moons before present, foxes attacked the camp and killed both of them. Four moons later, and one moon before present, Thunderleap was killed by the Dark Forest. Sunfeather was made deputy in his footsteps, being one of the most experienced and respected warriors in the Clan at this time. Now freshly made deputy, it has only been a few days since her inauguration beside Hawkstar at the Dawn Pool, and swore her relinquishment of StarClan to him. This was very difficult on her but she made herself convincing enough. No living cat knows of her belief, no cat yet...
