Because my adoption thread is new and many of the artists (including myself) are busy, I wanted to recruit some more artists to the team to help design the adopts. Originally I was just going to have them fill out an application, but many users requested that a color-in thread was made for them so they could show off their designing ideas.
Alright, I get it now. Now let's get to the good stuff... what's the prize?
The main "prize" is the ability to become a staff member for my species. Artists are allowed to make his or herself up to two customs and also gets to create designs to put up for adoption.
Wait, so no pets or art?
Sorry, I want people to enter because they genuinely like the species and want to staff for it, not because they're trying to win a prize. ^^'
I already applied on the main thread with a written form, do I have to color this in now?
Nope, not at all! C: This does not increase or decrease your chances of winning, it's just so you can give me a preview of how you're planning to design the Spyre Specters.
I just made an awesome design and fell in love with it, can I keep the character?
If you become an artist, you may keep your Spyre. c: (This counts for your two-custom limit, though!) If you do not place as an artist, you are allowed to reuse your design on another species (wolf, cat, dog, bird, etc.) but you cannot make it a Spyre Specter.
Will there ever be another chance to be an official Spyre Specters artist?
After this ends, there likely won't be another chance for a while, since I won't really need any more artists. However, guest artist slots may open up so you would still be able to make adoptables! =D
How do I color this in? It won't let me...

Because school is so busy around this time of the year, this will end on May 14th. That gives you over a month to work on entires.
How many designs can I make?
You can make up to four designs, but remember, if you become an artist you can only keep up to two of them as Spyre Specters.

What experience do you have? Have you managed/been an artist for any other adoptable species?:
I am currently the owner of Racehorse Adoptions Incorporated (RAI.), an adoptable where you can adopt/buy and race your horses against the other members, as well as Tignix Adopts. I am also proud to be an artist for Jeweled Ecrystalines. I was a Guest Artist Northern Mayes (though my boss has allowed my to continue to colour the lines for my own customs) and Equus Cabballus.

Why do you want to become an artist for Spyre Specters?:
I believe that I can provide this beautiful adoptable with my own stamp, helping to create a diverse range of Spyre Specters available for the general public to adopt, alongside the other artists. As well as the fact that I adore and dote upon felines, as I'm sure my two kitties would tell you if they could!
If I don't get the job, I still wish you the best of luck and I will continue to support you and your fabulous artists! ^^

I've been in multiple species adoptions, usually as a guest artist, and for the ones I was a perminate artist in, the species died. :C
Why do you want to become an artist for Spyre Specters?:
The species is stunning and unique, and it shows plenty of potential to become well-known. The people here also seem very devoted and as if they won't forget the species, and I would like to be apart of that. If I do not get the position, I just want to say thanks for the opportunity.

Why do you want to become an artist for Spyre Specters?: Well I have been with this species... like forever. I own some of the first generation Spyres, and seeing them renewed makes me excited. I can't wait!

I am a proud artist for 4 other species, co-owner of 1 and owner of 2. So, quite experienced, I'd say! ^^ Although I must admit, none of them are very popular. -sigh-

I just...I love them. That's all there is to it. The lineart's amazing, the background story fantastic, and I just...ooh, I just want to be a part of that! ;D I love Spyres just...so much...and I, well, I can't imagine NOT being a huge fan, let alone an artist! x3

Also letting us color lines like stated above is an excellent idea. Sometimes examples in one species does not show how we would do another.

Yes, I am currently an artist for the species Kismet Starkeepers, as seen in my signature's links.
Why do you want to become an artist for Spyre Specters?:
I've been watching this species/community grow, albeit from the sidelines, since a very long time, back when I was still Nightgaze. I have my lovely boy Aestus from the original lines to prove it. <3 I'm eager to get this species back up and running probably as much as you all are, and I'd be honored to be part of it as an artist. I have some designs in my head that I'm itching to get down on some form of adopts as well. ^^

I have been an artist for Tempestines, Chimera's, Buttersaurs and various other species. Guest artist for JMD's
And I am making my first design as an artist for Wish Dragons.
Other than that I make designs just for the pleasure of it.

I have always been fascinated by the supernatural, and I was immediately interested when I clicked a link to this adoption agency when it was posted on the JBD Fanclub.

Yes. I have been a guest artist for Fancy Cats, and I have also created a few other designs for other species. I try my best and hardest to follow species rules and standards when creating designs. I ask any and all questions that come to mind when creating a design before I post it and I ponder over designs and they are not quick. I try to make them as good of quality as I can, but I lack that ability to creat what I envision in my mind. I try though, and I'll try my best and my hardest to create quality designs for this wonderful and beautiful species.
Why do you want to become an artist for Spyre Specters?:
Well, as you already know, I've been watching these since version one. I didn't have the skill I have now then, and would really like to help out with these guys. I love the species and the concept of them. There's not much I can say here but what has already been said, and I do wish this species good luck.
