"O-Of course" Kaida managed to choke out over her adoration of this boy, yeah, she'd fallen pretty hard.
"Just..One thing" He had stood up from the park bench, nearing her. Closer. Closer.
He rested a hand on her shoulder and bent to her eye level, he was a bit older...And taller than her.
"Y-Yes?" She stuttered again, her mouth agape at the sudden closeness. And how his ocean like blue eyes froze her own in place, locking them in a staring competition of maximum force.
"Kaida... Please... Don't fall in love with me. I love someone else already, It'd be easier on both of us if you stayed away from me. But mostly me, because I mean.... Eck..." And with that he had spun on his heel and walked off, the crunch of snow under his boots becoming more distant by the second.
Yumi. The one boy Kaida had ever truly loved. The boy who told her he liked her for her, and was glad she was no Barbie.the one who had actually cared. He had caught on right away. And left. For good.
With that she stood stunned, her eyes brimming with tears as finally the bite of cold from the outdoors finally got to her.
She reached out after him, the wind pushing harshly at her back and forcing up the deep blue dress she had pulled on hurriedly when he had asked her to go for a walk with him, yeah yeah fancy. The wind sent bitter chills down her spine as her hand grasped empty air, and with that the tears began to force past the barrier, and in that moment on the verge of tears she muttered a lone sentence. "it's to late Yumi... I will always remember you... Goodbye, dear Yumi...I love you..."
