A full moon shone in the sky. A sign for gatherings, but Thunderclan was not going that night. Their beloved Medicine Cat, Jayfeather, was dying. "Is he okay?" Dovestar limped into the Medicine Den. "I'm afraid not." Briarlight mewed with Magicpaw beside her. "Bu-but Jayfeather was my mentor..." Magicpaw looked at Dovestar with a pleading look in her eyes. "We can't do anything more for him? He is one of the four." Dovestar pressed, hoping to have her beloved half mentor beside her again. "No..." Briarlight stopped mid sentence. Briarlight was Jayfeather's mate and their kits were all grown up. Sweetfeather, Firefoot, Watertail, Secretwish, and Hollyhope. "Briarlight..." Brairlight whipped around to look to where the voice came from. "yes, Jayfeather?" She spluttered but found her voice again. "I am sorry, Briarlight... Briarlight." Jayfeather felt the darkness overwhelm him and engulf him. "Goodbye friends..."

Yay! Now Jay is with Half!
