[Shenan_the_cat]

This is Bandit, my new Ferret character and I quite like her.

The mouse didn't stand a chance; with the wind carrying our scent from its twitchy, pink nose there was no chance of it realizing we were there. It was cowering in the mushroom patch like a ball of sooty grey fluff unaware that Slik and I were not too far from where it stood, the two of us scrunched up into hunting positions waiting for the right moment to pounce. "We'll get it easy." I heard Slik say, it was more to himself than to me but still I had to agree. His tail flicked against mine in the seconds before the pounce.

Suddenly a shot of dark brown fur, a lighter tipped tail flicking up behind, came out from behind the larger fungus and cupped it smoothly in both paws. Standing up, a pleased look now on her features, the young female Ferret nipped the neck of her prize and the mouse drooped between her teeth. It was a fine catch, indeed, yet she had made it appear so effortless; I almost envied her for it.

Slik growled beside me and I had half a mind to let him set after her, but I was unsure of whether or not she was Female Ferrets rarely traveled alone. So we crouched, as still as we'd been before, in the short bristly grass gazing in awe as she half-carried, half-dragged the mouse back the way she had first come.

I may make Slik and Cotton into characters but I'm unsure about it as this snip-it of story was just because I had the idea (I have written more of the story but it is so far classified). Please don't use her or it as your own.
Her eyes are the green shown although you can't see them very well.
Also, Tiny Gryphon I made the Hi-Lights more brown to match her coat colour. I hope this is okay.
