I thought I might as well, aye? Faces are a lot of proportioning work, to be honest. There are a lot of angles and planes and dimensions and variety of face shapes and nose sizes and eyes and lips. But I'd like to just focus on the main construction of the face.
In general there are some key things you want to remember with faces. Eyes sit in the middle of the entire face (which includes jaw/skull ratio), the nose and mouth just above and bellow the half line bellow the eyes. For men, I like to give them stronger jaws and their eyes usually sit closer together. Women dont usually have that much of a strong jaw and qutie often their eyes sit further apart. But I think the most import thing is the half line in middle of the face, and it is especially useful when doing angles in the head- as shown on the very left.
It's hard to explain the process of the diagrams bit by bit without actually showing you, so I would hope you will be able to interpert my general proportions I've put up. Just practice the general shapes and distinctions, and play with the different types of facial features. That is all up to you. But keep in mind that building up a good proportion sketch makes a huge difference. And if you practice enough, you'll have it so visually implanted in your mind that you wont have to draw it all out in a sketch.
Just keep practicing~ <3 You are already a talented artist, you just gotta get your reigns on studying your subjects and building up experience.
