Tarkin ran away as thunder approached the hollow I was standing in. Mr. Todd looked up from eating a danish I had brought for food.
"Well we should get to safety, I heard there was a tornado here." I said.
"Storms are only powerful things that kill people, for the confederacy's fun. Now let me finish my danish!" Mr. Todd said.
"I don't want to die!!" I replied.
"We can't die Lilith, we are us and nothing can kill us, but the confederacy can bring bad thoughts into our head and if we finally ask for freedom as a normal and then we are like robots.. living only to die." Mr. Todd said.
"So if I walked outside into a tornado I wouldn't die?"
