That sucks. Even with brothers be careful with bringing them into a new environment. my two were brothers and still managed to want to kill each other as soon as I brought them home.

Good! A lot of people get rats and think its as easy as that. it is great to see someone who researched before getting one

I know. Or breeders who don't know what they are doing! Like someone was trying to sell me a male and female (siblings) but she couldn't guarantee the female wasn't pregnant. I mean sure she had a excuse, but she should have had a knowledgeable person looking after them instead of someone how put the female in with the males!

They can breed in like 3 seconds, and she said the female was in there for a couple minutes!

Yeah. I breed rats but I know what I'm doing as well as my dad does so yeah. Any female I think might be Pregnant I keep until I am certain she isnt. I get about 3 Rat Pros as well as my vet to check males and females. People say I shouldnt breed but I see no problem as long as I know they have homes. I dont randomly breed I selective breed for colour and temperment, making sure I have homes lined up before a female even gets pregnant.

I rescue rats that arent looked after. I take rats like your problem and look after Females that might be pregnant. So yeah

Id love to do that one day! My momma isnt to keen on rats, and my stepdad doesn't even know I'm wanting them. My momma's gonna talk him into it though.

My dad has always had rats and has pictures of me when I was 3 playing with them in a boarded hallway. Its adorable as there were rats as young as 3-4 days old having me cuddling them so as they thought I grew up and now at 16 I love rats ahah!

That's so cool! I've always had dogs. We never breeded any, the only dog we were going to breed was a purebred boxer with good bloodlines, she was stolen before she came into heat, so we never got to breed her.

That really sucks. I breed all different animals because i just love it. I use to breed birds but sadly all my pairs died now I only have a pair of Galahs that are too young. I Handraise birds though. Thats fun and worth the time. I have my Rats. Never bred dogs as I've only ever had rescue dogs that are already de-sexed. Had to bottle feed a puppy at one stage though. only for like 3 days when I was at a friends house. I am going to breed my cat when she comes of a good age.
