"Th-there it is!" Short-Hair one shouted, pointing at the thing that had appeared in the door, "That's our ticket out of here!" It looked over to me, all it's teeth showing, I shied away, remembering that showing teeth is a way to say 'I want to fight'. But it didn't show any signs of aggression, so I was slightly confused. However, despite how my confusion seemed so obvious to me, it seems that Short-Hair did not think the same, as they turned back around and walked towards the thing in the door.
"Come on, Greenie!" It said to me, "You don' wanna stay here forever, do ya?" It said, before running to the thing, and.... I don't know what to say. I have not been taught a word to describe what happened to Short-Hair. It just....
I then heard the loud noise that I had heard when I and Short-Hair heard when we were climbing in the vents. I knew this sound was dangerous, so I copied what the Short-Hair did, and ran to the thing in the door. I faintly heard someone, a woman, I think, shout something that sounded like the word 'keratin', but, for once in my living, I was not sure.
