I'm determined to color every one of my lion characters, apparently. This is Bara, a rather major character in the story.
What's unusual about Bara is that, originally, he looked nothing like this. He was a large, strong lion with a golden pelt and a golden mane, and his partner (Originally named Kufa, I believe) looked much like this. However, when Bara became a human, I modeled his human form after a particular actor I envisioned him looking like, and he and his mate kind of switched appearances. And his mate's name changed to Nyota.
