Short story/poem: Gianni was always a loner. His parents abandoned him at birth, and ever since he's been too shy to go near anyone. He talks to himself, hoping he'll actually find someone who understands him, and what he's been through. He lived in a dark cave on a mountain where no one could find him. Until humans came, and destroyed almost everything, and made a city. So, he had to abandon the place, and he lived near a small creek, where no one goes. The creek gave him all his food and water, he lived with no one but the little fish in the creek and the occasional deer passing by. Somehow, he loves but hates being alone. He always thinks of his parents...how its their fault he is at the creek, and it is their fault they abandoned him. But, deep inside, he still loved his parents more than anything. He longed to have someone to care about him, like a parent. And that's how he found me.

Where the cacti grow,

His heavy hooves sink in the soft sand,
Moving always,

His coat is grey like smoke,
With snow white on his belly,
It glistens in the heat,
Like the sun it glows,
As he moves on,
Unknown,
His mane and tail,
Stream behind him,
Wispy,
And long,
Blowing in the breeze,
As he races on,

His eyes are like fire,
Creul,
But warm,
He moves on,
Unknown.

Its pretty terrible, but....
