chapter 11- life or death

well? how can we get through her? its not a "we" thing...... i can use my spell on her cuz its dark magic it'll brake through any forcefield....... but. but what? if we don't do something fast discord will have her defeate us! but thats just it....... if i use the spell.... it.... it could kill her. what?! you can't kill my aunt! she's my best friend...... i have to save her, but if it doesn't work right she'll use the toxic darkness spell on me, i know she will. how bad could that be? it could kill me and half of pony villie. oh..... well we have to try, you destract katira with your spell and we'll take down discord with the elements of harmuny. shadow stude tall and took in a deep breath. she worked up the spell that she had used before in the room. she formed the blue black cloud of electricity that formed a dragon and snarled with bright red eyes. i noticed the challenge and acepted it. i too cast the spell of the daeth dragon, it formed but in a green black cloud with toxic mist coming off of it. the two flashed past each other and exsploded in smoke. i smiled and laughed as she drew it again but this time in true form. before i could work my spell up as powerful she drew a beem of light that came at me. i created a sheld as the beem slowly broke it and i forcefuly tryed to throw it back at her or at lest to trow it off. she put in all her mite and with tiers rolling down her face she shot the beem with full power at me as it broke through the sheld of magic. i was thrown back and the daedly beem swept over me. discord looked over as i fell and gasped as he looked at twilight and her friends with the elements ready to put him back into stone. no, im not going back to stone! he spread his wings and took to the skys. he flew as fast as he could, twilight looked at everyone, well hes gone for now. they looked over at shadow as she stude with wobly legs and teirs rolling down her face. the other ponies rushed over to her and looke past a hill of dirt that had been torn up werd as katira layed in a hole that was steaming with a toxic glow. shadow slowly stepped down to katira as the other ponies watched. she layed down next to katira's scared and brused body, she nuzzled her and layed her head down next to katira's. she sobed, she was my best friend...... strounger than me..... willing to do anything for me..... and now she's gone. the othe ponies sobed a bite as well. she shouldn't of had to pay of what i had done. i relested discord, i fell to his power, i wanted to come here, and i..... i killed her. she slowly got up and turned back to katira and nuzzled her head against mine, but this time our horns touched and a spark of friendship arose. a light brightly burnded from the two horns, a wave of wind and light with a flash of green swept through the land. as it vanished i stude up slowly and a bit in pain. your ok!! shadow huged e as tite as she could with tiery eyes. i made a face and tryed to speek over her titly squizzing, you know, you could of at lest check if i was alive first. the other ponies ran down and gave me a hug as well. a steped back to get out of all the hugging. i thought that you were daed katira. shadow i can never die as long as you have faith in our friendship. she smiled and sruged. now we should all get ready,the canterlot ball is tonight. rarity jumped up with joy, oh we'll all go to the spea and i'll make everyone a dress fast. well actully me and shadow have dress from back home, but a trip to the spea sounds good.
