- Blaze, who is not at all like his cruel and violent mother Dakota, is rather nice. But when Blaze is upset, he does get violent and needs to be off on his own for a while. When Blaze is in a good mood, he doesnt like violence, and spends his time galloping around or swimming whenever he can. He sometimes even races his mother, but he always looses. For 3 years old, Blaze is big, being 14.2hh. But by the time he reaches 6, he'll be 16.2 hh.

- Blaze was born to an Arabian mare named Dakota Lightning and a Quarter Horse Stud named Faux. Blaze was with his parents for a whole year in their herd when Dakota and Blaze had been separated and ended up at the bottom of a hill. The two had to climb back up to get to their herd when it started raining and turned the dirt to mud, where they slipped and fell and got scrapped up, bruised and bloody. When they finally made it to the top, a cougar was awaiting them, when Faux came and chased the cougar up the hill. When he returned, he was bloody and beaten. His last words to them were that he loved them before he hit the ground dead.
After a while, when Blaze turned 2, the herd was ambushed by wolves. Blaze was captured and was practically eaten alive. But Dakota's love for her only son was too strong, and she managed to rescue her son before they got to any vital organs. Though Blaze was badly hurt, he managed to recover, but was left with a life scar. And he has lived with Dakota ever since. And until he thinks he is truely ready to be out on his own he will stick by his mothers side.
