Ya!!!!
Finally, I did a tabby cat that I like!!....Yes, I am VERY happy
.
------
So this is ThunderStep. Obviously a warrior cat by name; but I'm not actually a big a warriors fan, read the first arc, liked it OK, the rest of the books have been kind of a let down, but I've never stopped enjoying the fantasy world of warriors. And so, when one day, this guy popped into my head, his basic design personality and build, I decided I liked him, and that the name was so cliched, that it needed to be his. (explanation if you don't get it: Cats are naturally light and quick on their feet, so they don't make much noise, but thunder is loud and can be herd from miles away)
------
Basic personality: ThunderStep, despite what his name might imply is actually a very quiet, very serious and slightly grouchy tomcat. Loyal and brave, thoughtful and smart, ThunderStep is a mixed package of a loveable grouchy 'older brother' type, and a fiercely protective and strong Shadow Clan tom.
Build: ThunderStep is a tall, sleek tomcat. He is slightly shorter than most cats in length, but his build is tall and muscular, his shoulders are broad and come up to most cats at the tips of their ears. Sleek fur hides none of the strong and thick build of his body, and most find him rather intimidating with his bright yellow gaze. All four of his paws have always been a bit over sized, and even as an adult, his paws are bigger and heavier than most cats. When he doesn't watch how he walks, it almost if he's stomping, but he can't help it with his larger than normal paws. But with training, he's learned to make his paw steps silent.
Coat colors/patterns: ThunderStep's coat colors range from an off white to his dark gray tabby stripes. A silvery base color with a ash gray over coat and off white and dark gray markings. ThunderStep is a mass jumble of different kinds of tabby stripes all arranged into an odd coat pattern. (Note: his jumbled patterns were partially based off of my own cat, Cleo. She is an all around puzzling mix of cat patterns, coat colors and slightly crazy looking ear tuffs.)
Clan: Shadow Clan (dejavu anyone else?)
