A page fluttered down from the table, landing in the recycling. Forgotten. The writer of the book was asleep on his desk. The page was from a book of species around the world. But this was lost, never printed in the book.

2 centuries later

The archaeologist was searching through the mess found around a small house. He pulled the ancient paper out and read it

These demons are a threat to all human kind. Standing 4 feet tall, these beasts terrorize the towns. With two heads, large front hooves, and a lashing tail, these creatures must be eradicated. They are called... Zirantts

Zirantts are large dog like creatures, with two heads. They have long, sleek tails, with a tuft of fur on the end. They have large hooves instead of front paws. Along with that, they have three spikes going down their back, floating with opposite charges of magnetism. They stand approximately 4 feet tall. The shamans of the clan dye the newborn pups back leg with tribal design tattoos, each different designs with the colour of the ink representing the pack. The dye is permanent, and stains the skin as well. Female tattoos will be on the left side of the body, and male on the right. Alpha's will have it on their shoulder blades as well. Zirantts can only be killed by slicing both their heads off. Humans have developed a device that is almost collar like. It has a small part on it that tightens and tightens, so when a Zirantt gets old, it will be tight enough to slice it off. Their heads have the same brain, they will always have the same expression, and they talk the same. Their eyes also go the same way.

These are the founders of Zirantt. The parents have NO pack and the pup's will be sorted into packs after they are won.

My eyes wide, I watched my father go out to hunt, his ears perked and his eyes already watchful. I didn't know why Mama was so scared, but I wanted to go play in that pretty light. I was about six weeks old, already the 'troublemaker.' I was unusually bright. colored compared to my siblings, and always went exploring. Can you blame me?

Story; I remember the morning, during the summer when the air was heavy with heat. It was an overall beautiful morning, however this was the day my life had changed.
I was young, but not a child. I wasnt considered an adult yet. I wondered away from my pack to get a drink from the cold river sometime before the sun completely rose. I rested my elbows along the riverbed and then plopped my behind down, in any way but elegant. Heheh, yeah I wish I had been more a gentleman at that moment. When I lifted my head from the water I just so happened to look across the river. In front of me stood a lovely, beautiful fae. Man, what a pretty girl she was.
I never thought I would fall in love. I was always too interested in knowledge and wisdom to care about the females. She changed everything...
I wanted to get to her, but to do that I had to wade across the water. I guess that was the only way, I wanted to introduce myself. I crawled into the icey water (luckily it was a hot summer) and when I got to the other side, I shook violently to get the dampness of my fur.
"I-I'm Clarkine..." I smiled, and I knew she could see the nervousness in my eyes.
"Pretty name. I like it." She was sweet, but I felt that there was something odd about her.
I swam back across the river, with the fae on my back to keep her from the wetness. Again, I shook at the other side.
"Do you wanna go to my pack? They're really nice, they're friendly, just like me, and..."
"Shush!" She snapped. "You try way to hard to impress women, y'know." she stuck her nose in the air to show her doninance. "Yeah, I'll go withg you!" and she, for some reason, lead the way.
The female told me that she had no pack. She was a loner. I can tell she wanted to live with us, but she was too stubborn to say so, so I offered her my spot in the cave. She was accepted by our alpha, and I got to live with the woman that completed my life.
We always walked to the river. It was now a sacred place for me. It marked my fae, the completion of my existance. I stopped worrying about wisdom and all that stuff, because she was much more important than that now. Everything was laid back for most of my life... and then the pups arrived.
Man, they sure kept me busy. Ha! More than busy! I never had a spare time in my life with six little children now. I learned how to hunt a while back but now I had to feed a total of eight hungry tummies. Sometimes I had to hunt two large animals just to feed everyone!
Every night, after my trip to the river, I sit under the cave mouth and look at the stars. "Some day, I want as many kids as there are stars in the sky..." I whispered to my lover. "Can we do that?"
She giggled at licked the tip of my nose. "No. Six is enough." she told me.
That night was the first ever night that I fell asleep under the sky, with my girl. And all six of my pups stayed beside me the whole time, and y'know what? They are worth more than all the stars in the sky.
