Originally, his armor was a turquoise metal... I changed it to more of a silver with gem inlays so that it just looks more decorative. After all, no one should really expect the pope to don battle armor and go fight. :P His armor's mostly for protection and decoration. Apparently it makes a very nice hat for ceremonies.

The blade-things on his flippers are like metallic fingers, allowing him to move individual rocks and other paraphernalia while he works. They're less for decoration, and more for everyday use. c:
