She rembered going to sleep with her liter-mates and Mom, in warm cozy basket. Now she was alone. In a cold, hard cage. There was a younger dog in the cage to her right. "Don't worry, little one. You won't be here long. People always pick the puppies." The dog said sadly. "Where is 'here'? I went to sleep with my family, at home." Cocao asked. "The Pound." The dog replied.
A few days later, someone came and looked at the dogs in the Pound. Then she stoped at Cocoa's cage. "Hi there, little one." The person said in a sweet voice. "Do you want to come home with me?" Cocoa wagged her tail. Then she looked at the the dog in the cage next to her. He'd said: "They always pick the puppies. I've been here for ten months." Cocoa backed away from the person and sat down next the other dog. "What are you doing?!?" the dog hissed. "You helped me, and kept me company. I'm not leaving without you." Cocoa replied. "I'll take these two" the person said.
Cocoa and Brownie now live happily with their new owner.

Yes, but seeing as Calypso and some others wrote NIETHER, their form was rejected. Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh, but it's just sometimes the way I do things.

Personality/History: A small pup sat on his back, staring at the roof of his cave. "Hey Keegan," one of his sisters piped up. "Want to go down to the river?" Keegan flicked an ear and rolled over. "Sure, let's go!" He said, bounding past her. The pup laughed, shouting "Hey! Wait for me!" and the two were off. Running down the slope, they neared the river. Suddenly, the female pup's foot slipped and she began to tumbled down the hill. "Ha ha, you're so clumsy... Oh no!" He started to mock her when suddenly she tumbled straight into the river, landing in it with a splash. That's when Keegan ran faster, he needed to save her, the river was dangerous for pups! Keegan skidded to a halt, scanning the water, then he saw her, flailing her paws in an attempt to stay above water. Thinking fast, he grabbed a small branch. "Here!" He said, it was muffled from the branch clasped in his jaws. Coughing, she quickly chomped down on it so Keegan could pull her to safety. "That was a close one... Just wait until Mom and Dad find out!" He grinned devilishly. His sister looked horrified. "You are NOT telling them!" With a grin, Keegan took off. "Oh, yeah? I will if I get there first!"
