You Mean Shading,Change the Opacity of the Airbrush and That Layer and then Smooth it and make the brush smaller.

Labgirl, when you make an editable, before you start drawing you should make a new layer for the lines, cause- i dont mean to be rude, but it's almost immpossible for me to color it in if there's just one layer. just wanted to help.
