And fashion is important...why? There's millions of people out there, maybe even trillions, who can't even afford food . And yet here we are, discussing what might make us "cool" or "pretty" . I frankly don't care about what is "in" , because I'm a freak , and I don't like wearing crap that some kids on the planet would kill for .

Just putting my opinion out here . Not a lot of people realize this . They take it for granted that they're on their computers .

Yes, but calling people who like fashion names is not nice. Just because you want to make yourself look nice doesn't mean you're not thinking about all the starving homeless people in the world.

guys, as much as I don't care for fashion and such, you should talk about the picture in a kind way. If you would like to talk about this I suggest taking it to the chat thread? So that you can talk about this without offending the artist. I don't think any of this is critique or compliments therefor most of it is off topic. Yes I do know there are kids without what we have but that does not mean you should go off topic. If you want to color the picture color it, if you are here to talk about the drawing go ahead and do so. But what I am seeing is pointless and can be found offending to the artist.

the only reason i wear what all the magaziens call 'in' is because i like the clothing. if the fashion was to put poo in your hair i don't think i'd be following that trend....
anyway we shouldn,i be making a debate abut fashion on sombodys picture. if you want a debate about poor people and fashion about a thread about it somewhere else. I ended having a debate on my picture, that i should of killed a dieing blackbird i found.. i mean i din't really have the guts to kill it so i helped it......

anyway my point is that we should take this debate somewhere else i'm sure the person who made the drawing din't want this debate on her hands. Ok ! comment on the drawing!

Ok, I didn't mean to be rude or anything on this picture, and the art is very neat, but it's what she said...that fashion that is "in" is so important to look good. I'm grateful that I can even talk to you guys via the Net. But, like I pointed out, is that there are so many people who are starving, parched, dirty, homeless, neck-deep in poverty, and cannot afford to buy food. And when I see drawings of people trying to point out that if you wear this stuff, it'll make you cool, I always state that I hope they're grateful, because I know kids who can barely afford to put food on the table...

I know kids like that too, I have been the kid with barely anything and I know how it feels but this isn't something to be talked about on oekaki because it is off topic, please if you want to continue this conversation or rant. Whatever you want to call it... take it to the chat forum.

The artist's post didn't say anything about fashion being important, and to all of the previous posters that started ranting and ragging on her for her picture, please take it to another thread.

All i'm saying is that all she posted was a picture and post informing us about what was "in", not that it was important or anything you people are accusing her of.

I'm on ya'll's side about not caring about fashion, but you don't need to rant on her about it, the art was aimed towards those who do care.
