Are you coloring on the "Color Here" layer?

I colour on the second layer from the bottom. The one called "Base Color".

Yeah, that should work. Im not sure why its not for you guys..OH! Are you trying to color one of the items? Cause you cant...I mean, you can, but you have to lower the opacity first.
